Nichole - Kaiercraft Hopskotch Card

Hi Everyone! Nichole here with a new card using the new Kaisercraft Hopskotch collection! Kaisercraft Hopskotch is the new collection for May.

This new collection from Kaisercraft uses bright shades of raspberry, cool tones of teal, and sharp bright greens for a retro look and feel. Mod shapes, VW vans, and sketchy lines make this one of my new favorite lines!

I had just finished another inspiring class with Online Card Classes - Pattern Play, and was ready to tackle the challenge of this bright and inspiring patterns featured in nearly every paper in this line.  I used the multicolor pattern paper as the base, and built my color scheme from there.

The tone-on-tone Damask background in this collection is so peaceful, and the collection came with cloud stickers, and built a scene with the Die cut flowers from the Collectables.  Puffy cloud stickers and rub ons float by on this beautiful scene.

My outer sentiment was stamped using PaperTrey Ink's Movers and Shakers sentiments on the Notes diecut from the CollectablesRub banners ons flank either side of this card as the breeze gently rolls by.

Greeting was stamped using Tsukineko Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa Brown, a perfect compliment to the warm retro tones.

Alternating corners of the card are rounded to give it an overall mod shape.

Glittery silver twine from Typo is the perfect compliment to this card.

And true to my resolution for the new year - to decorate the inside of the cards more I went all out.  Fantastic full size color rub ons are my new favorite supply from Kaisercraft - they lay perfectly flat and give the inside of your card that extra OOMPH it needs!

Inside sentiment was stamped using Tsukineko Memento ink in Rich Cocoa with a sentiment from PaperTrey Ink onto a Collectables die cut.  The "you're" portion was from PaperSmooches stamps, stamped onto a sticker sheet from this collection.

I really enjoyed this collection and thank you for looking!

Nichole
